What styles of Yoga does Caroline teach?
Beginner Hatha Yoga and Yoga Basics
These classes are designed for pure beginners and those desiring a slow, detailed pace. Classes focus on healthy alignment in foundational Yoga poses and breathwork to provide the building blocks for an advancing practice. Many students have been coming to these classes for years, others begin here and move on to advanced classes.
All Level Hatha Yoga
This class is an exploration of the breadth of Yoga poses, and includes standing, twisting, balancing, stretching, back bending/heart opening and inversion poses. Props are often used to finetune alignment and promote mastery of postures. Breathing techniques are used to enhance the practice and center the mind. Class sequencing focuses on building strength and flexibility for a healthy and happy body.
Vinyasa means ‘to place in a special way,’ and in Yoga this means progressive sequences that unfold with an inherent harmony and intelligence. This class combines the fluidity of Vinyasa with the intelligent alignment principles of Hatha Yoga to build strength, stamina and flexibility. Classes typically begin with Sun Salutations to warm the body and focus the mind. Vinyasa Yoga teaches us to cultivate an awareness that links each action to the next, on the mat and in our lives.
Yoga for Healthy Aging (Ageless Yoga)
For everyone who would like to age with as much strength and grace a possible, this class promotes healthy muscle tone and strong bones, and supports joint range-of-motion as well as agility, cardiovascular health, and a centered mind. Numerous studies confirm that Yoga practice has a remarkable impact on physical and mental health along with spiritual well-being.

I'm injured. Can Caroline's classes help?
In the majority of cases yes absolutely!
Of course the severity of your condition will need to be taken into account and in some instances a doctors note will be required.
Caroline has a deep understanding of the body, and utilizes her skills as a Yoga Teacher, Massage Therapist, and Pilates Instructor when helping those injured or in pain. If you're intending on joining a public Yoga group class, the Beginner or Basic level classes are recommended. Private Yoga Sessions are an especially effective way of learning how you can take care of yourself and progress towards recovery.
